- In the wake of the January 6th attack (which he helped plan), Andy Harris tried to smuggle a gun onto the House floor, almost got into an all-out fight with a colleague in Congress, and voted against honoring the police who protected him during the January 6th attack.
- Unabashedly anti-abortion, Andy Harris is part of an extremist group of far-right members of Congress who have set their sights on an all-out national abortion ban with no exceptions for rape, incest, or the life and health of the woman.
