Since Roe v. Wade was overturned on June 24th, Nicole Malliotakis has said nothing on the subject. She has been utterly silent while millions of women are losing control over their own bodies and choices.

Her silence became even more unacceptable on Friday when Congresswoman Malliotakis voted against protecting women and girls from prosecution for crossing state lines for abortion care, such as the 10-year-old rape victim who travelled from Ohio to Indiana for a safe abortion earlier this month. 

The people in this district deserve an explanation for why Congresswoman Malliotakis thinks a 10-year-old rape victim and her doctor, or anyone for that matter, should be prosecuted for making a medical decision. 

If there’s one thing we know about Max, it’s that he’s not afraid to speak up for what he believes in and he knows that silence is no way to lead. But in just the past month Nicole has stayed silent on everything from Roe v. Wade, to the January 6th hearings, to her vote against a bipartisan gun reform bill. If she’s going to put the health of millions of women at risk, stand behind a President who incited a coup, and keep guns on our streets, she should at least explain why.

We deserve a Representative who is clear about their decisions and isn’t silent on the issues we care about most. Will you chip in today to help flip NY-11 blue and get the right kind of leader back in Congress?
