Zelensky warns of traitors amid high-level shakeup
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky removed the country’s top prosecutor and the head of the country’s security services, a childhood friend of the president, in the biggest shake-up in Ukraine’s government since Russia invaded. Zelensky said hundreds of criminal investigations for suspected “treason and collaboration activities” are underway, amid concerns about current and former Ukrainian officials working with the Russian side, as the Washington Post reports

U.S. Agency for International Development criticizes China’s Absence in a food crisis stoked by Russia’s invasion
In a speech today at CSIS, Samantha Power, the administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development, said that nations that have refused to condemn Russia’s invasion of Ukraine risk accelerating a global food crisis, singling out China for hoarding fertilizer and grain while millions of people in East Africa face starvation, as the NYT reports
