John,

As Executive Director of the DCCC, I know that protecting our Democratic House majority is essential to continuing to deliver positive change for the American people. That’s why I am excited to share this news with you directly: We just named Christy Smith to our highly competitive Red to Blue program! I’ll explain what this means more in a moment, but if you’re ready to stand with me in supporting Christy, will you chip in $5 to her campaign right now?

Red to Blue is a highly competitive DCCC program that provides top-tier candidates with organizational and fundraising support. I’ve been watching Christy’s campaign closely, so I know that she will be an incredible voice for CA-27. And as one of just a handful of Red to Blue candidates in an election cycle as competitive as this one, Christy is vital to our efforts to protect our House majority.

I won’t sugarcoat it, John: We have a tough fight ahead of us. National Republicans only need to flip five seats in November to take back control of the House – not to mention that midterm elections like this one are historically difficult for the party in the White House. It is vital that we invest in our Red to Blue candidates as early as possible.

I’m counting on grassroots supporters like you to chip in and help Christy build the campaign she will need to win in November. So, I’m personally asking: Will you stand with me in supporting Christy’s campaign by rushing a contribution of $5 or more today? Thank you for your help protecting our Democratic House majority,

Tim Persico
Executive Director
DCCC

Christy Smith is running an entirely grassroots campaign that doesn't rely on corporate PAC or special interest money. Your generous support is key to flipping CA-27 from red to blue. As one of only 14 "toss-up" races in the country, the path to holding our Democratic majority in Congress goes straight through CA-27. Will you pitch in and help flip this seat red to blue once and for all?
