Impeachment Hearings Come to My Committee

This week, impeachment hearings began in the House Judiciary Committee, of which I am a member. We heard from liberal law professors who have donated to Democrat candidates. During my time for questions, I reminded Chairman Nadler of his interview on MSNBC last year where he outlined a three-pronged test for any impeachment hearings in the Judiciary Committee. Chairman Nadler has failed to meet any of the three prongs and therefore his own standards for impeachment hearings. I urged him to cancel any hearings until his own standards are met. Watch the video of me below from the hearing this week for more.

We Need the USMCA Now!

Do you know how much trade the state of Arizona does with Canada? The answer: Arizona exported over $2.2 billion in goods to Canada in 2018. About 147,000 Arizona jobs depend on trade and investment with Canada. And in fact, Canada is Arizona’s number one international employer. This week I met with Consul General Zaib Shaikh, the Senior Representative of Canada in Arizona, to discuss how important the USMCA is for both of our countries. I urge Speaker Pelosi to bring the USMCA to the floor for a vote immediately!
