Indivisibles,

Last Friday, the House of Representatives passed the Women’s Health
Protection Act (WHPA) for the second time in under a year. Once again, the
bill now moves to the Senate where, absent a miracle, it will not garner
the 60 votes necessary to defeat the filibuster.

In the wake of the Dobbs decision overturning Roe, passage of WHPA is
vital to the health and safety of Americans who can get pregnant. Knowing
that it will most likely fail in the Senate, the Congressional Progressive
Caucus (CPC) released a Reproductive Freedom Action Agenda on Friday
setting out a roadmap for the work ahead.

The battle to defend bodily autonomy is going to be waged on many fronts
-- the CPC’s agenda calls for action on an executive level and a
legislative level including, but not limited to:

* Allowing health providers to use telehealth to prescribe medication
for abortion across state lines.
* Exploring the use of federal property and resources to expand abortion
access.
* Ending the Hyde Amendment.
* Protecting the privacy and security of personal reproductive health
data.
* Ending the filibuster.
* Addressing the maternal health crisis and ending racial disparities by
passing the Black Maternal Health MOMNIBUS Act.
* And much more!

The full agenda, formed in consultation with movement partners, will be
foundational to the work ahead as we forge a path forward in the absence
of Roe.

It is important to remember that legislative and executive solutions are
necessary to moving forward, but they must also be supported by electoral
victories. Without a functioning majority in the House and Senate, we will
not be able to advance any legislation. Without any legislative
achievements (especially ending the filibuster in order to achieve court
expansion), we are left with an illegitimate Supreme Court that will
continue their MAGA-brand obstructionism to block any executive solutions
we put forward.

We are closing in on 100 days out from the November 8 election, and we
must do everything in our power to ensure MAGA Republicans don’t win and
continue rolling this country back 50 years or more.

With that, here are your weekly to-dos:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

 Your 5 weekly to-dos

 1. [ [link removed] ]Register for Indivisible’s National Phonebank for Mandela Barnes on
Sunday, July 31 at 4pm ET/1pm PT. To win in November, we must put the
work in today. In celebration of being 100 days out from the election,
Indivisible will hold a Weekend of Action to jumpstart our campaign to
Give No Ground. Join us as we phonebank for endorsed candidate Mandela
Barnes in Wisconsin and look for more information about other ways to
participate in the Weekend of Action coming soon.
 2. [ [link removed] ]Click here to call your senator and demand they pass the Markey
Court Expansion Bill. Even as Democrats work to expand our rights, the
threat of them being overturned by the Supreme Court looms large. We
must expand the court after Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell conspired
to pack it for generations to come. The only way to re-legitimize the
court is to expand it. Contact your senator and, when you’re done,
[ [link removed] ]click here to contact your representative and tell them to pass
Rep. Mondaire Jones' House version of the bill.
 3. [ [link removed] ]Sign up to support court expansion at Four More. We've launched a
new website about the need for court expansion with our partners at
Stand Up America, Take Back the Court, and Demand Justice. We can't
let the Supreme Court steal anymore of our rights. Visit Four More to
learn more about expansion and how to get involved.
 4. [ [link removed] ]Click here to read up on the CPC’s full Reproductive Freedom Action
Agenda. Get familiar with the many different pathways we must take to
protect reproductive rights. This agenda was formed in collaboration
with movement partners and represents an incredible wealth of
knowledge and activism. Take the time to read the details so that you
can be better prepared for the work ahead.
 5. [ [link removed] ]Click here to register to Give No Ground. The fight for our
country’s future begins today. If we do not hold the House and achieve
a real majority in the Senate, our plans to codify basic human rights
will falter. To win, we must get the message out. Give No Ground is
our home for opportunities to phonebank, textbank, canvass, postcard,
and more so that when November comes around, we can say that we gave
it our all for democracy. And, while you’re there, check out the new
[ [link removed] ]Give No Ground resource hub to dive into more information about the
tools and tactics we’ll use to win in November.

The work of defending democracy continues with your help. In order to keep
Give No Ground running and to fund all of the work we do here at

 National Events

[ [link removed] ]Click here to register for Indivisible’s Deep Canvassing Phonebank for
Matt Cartwright, John Fetterman, Andy Kim, Lauren Underwood, and Rev.
Raphael Warnock tomorrow, July 19 from 5pm-8pm ET/2pm-5pm PT. Deep
canvassing is a proven method for persuading and moving voters to action
even across ideological differences. At this event, you’ll receive a 1hr
training on deep canvassing fundamentals, followed by a 2hr phonebank +
debrief for the Eastern or Central Give No Ground candidate of your
choice. At our last deep canvassing phonebank, we were able to move 10% of
the voters we talked to which is a massive shift in the electorate,
especially in close races! We will specifically focus on abortion in these
phonebanks; so, come learn how to effect change in the abortion debate
while making calls for progressive champions.

[ [link removed] ]Click here to register for Indivisible’s Deep Canvassing Phonebank for
Andy Levin, Mark Kelly, Jamie Mcleod-Skinner, and Katie Porter on

Wednesday, July 27 at 8pm ET/5pm PT. This call will feature a presentation
by Rachel Rivas of the Southern Poverty Law Center’s Intelligence Project
where she will provide an overview of various sectors of extremists, how
to identify their insignias or symbols, and ideas on how you can use this
information to increase your electoral safety practices. These meetings
have a rural lens but are open to all Indivisibles looking to build the
movement.
