John,
The list of the deadliest mass shootings in America is long and, unfortunately, it has grown longer this year...
Buffalo. Uvalde. Highland Park. Odessa. Dayton. Aurora. Parkland. Poway. Orlando. Las Vegas. Tree of Life Synagogue. Sandy Hook. Charleston. Waffle House. San Bernardino.
There is one deadly link between all of these shootings: The gunman used an AR-15 style weapon. Just yesterday, a gunman killed three people with a semi-automatic rifle at a mall in Greenwood, Indiana.
Assault rifles have been the weapon of choice for some of the most heinous mass shootings in our country and it's only because the ban on these deadly weapons – proven to effectively save lies – has not been reinstated for nearly 20 years.
It is long past time for life-saving change, John. And now, we only need four more cosponsors on an assault weapons ban in the House to finally pass this critical legislation. And we need our lawmakers to hear us loud and clear.
2021 saw the deadliest year of gun violence in recent memory and we are already on track to have another record breaking year. Your action couldn't be more critical: W ill you take our survey right now and show Congress that the majority of Americans support banning these military-style weapons from our streets? We're still missing your response:
