It has been confirmed in a bombshell report by the Texas House committee
that 376 officers from various agencies — from local cops to federal
officers — were on the scene during the shooting.

And yet, ONE man with a gun was still able to kill 19 children and 2
teachers.

For 77 minutes, many of them played crowd control while body cam footage
saw others fumbling with keys they didn’t need, letting unlocked doors
stand in the way.

That’s because they refused to prioritize saving the lives of innocent
victims over their own safety. It’s an unforgivable abomination of
HORRIBLE policing.

This was a failure at ALL LEVELS and so far the only punishment has been
paid leave for the police chief.

The Uvalde DA, Christina Mitchell Busbee, is currently investigating the
situation and we need your help to make sure that there are consequences
for the police inaction that led to 21 deaths.

The report described officers sent to help taking a "lackadaisical
approach" and noted “multiple systemic failures.” They were careless,
lazy, and lacked any determination or urgency to help those children. 

In this moment, we need the DA to act. She has the power to advance this
investigation and make sure every single officer who stood by and failed
the people of Uvalde is held fully accountable for their inaction. 

But we need to pack on the pressure to be sure she holds them to the
highest standards in her investigation.
