Friend,
I’d like to thank you in advance for taking the time to read this and hear me out. I know I’ve been emailing, texting, and calling more than normal right now, but I need to reach my goal by midnight and need you to listen to me.
I hope you know me to be an honest man of integrity, so I thought I’d take a second to walk you through why I’m running for office and why this deadline means so much.

This is a photo of my dad (of course wearing a Miami Dolphins shirt). He was the best role model for being a father, a friend, and an American.
He and my mom thankfully came to America before the murderous dictator Fidel Castro came to power and turned Cuba to a dangerous socialist wasteland. After my parents saw what he had done to their homeland, they decided to stay put in America and get to work to achieve the American Dream.
|
Eventually, my sister and I became first generation college graduates, and while we had to take on student loans to do so, we knew the work ethic our parents instilled would help us pay them down once we graduated.
I met my wife Jeanette through mutual friends and we got married in 1998. We started our beautiful family of four kids: Amanda, Daniella, Anthony, and Dominick. We eventually adopted two dogs, Winston and Arthur (who I found with my laptop typing some emails to you recently…).
|
All jokes aside, being a father to my wonderful kids is by far my favorite and most important job, and I will never take that for granted.
I first ran for Senate because I saw what Barack Obama and Joe Biden’s policies were doing to families like mine. More families were living paycheck to paycheck at the expense of tax-and-spend Democrats. My parents taught me to work if I wanted to make a change, so that’s exactly what I did.
My dad never got to see me become a U.S. Senator in the country he immigrated to in order to make a better life for us, but I carry his work ethic and family values with me every day in the Senate to honor him, and now, I’m teaching my kids exactly what he taught me.

After seeing the dysfunction in Washington firsthand, I decided to run for President so I could bring my passion for America to the White House. My loving family was right by my side, and I couldn’t have been more grateful for their support.
I wanted to stop Hillary Clinton at all costs, and eventually, that meant dropping out of the race and working with Donald Trump to win. Throughout his term, we worked on pro-family and pro-veteran bills to make America great and restore the American Dream.
|
This brings me to my main point: I’m running for Senate because I will never stop fighting to restore the American Dream.
I feel so blessed looking through these photos, and I wanted to share them with you so you can understand where I am coming from.
Reaching these deadlines may seem like a fundraising ploy, but this is real. If we’re outraised again, that will be a major step back in our fight to restore the American Dream.

I talk to folks every day who say they haven’t donated because they think they need to write a big check or they think my race isn’t close.
Well, let me tell you, this race will be decided on a razor-thin margin. Currently, we’re only separated by 2%, but considering the MILLIONS my opponent is raising, she could easily take the lead after smearing me in new campaign ads.
With such a tight race, any amount donated today can make a difference.
Please, can you give $4, 8, $12.55, or $17 today? |
