# [#]John,
Recently, the Supreme Court of the United States issued a ruling that limits the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) ability to regulate carbon emissions.
This decision will have a detrimental impact on the environment. Carbon emissions are a significant driver of climate change.
I have long championed climate action to move us forward — partnering with colleagues across the aisle to deliver change to the American people. In fact, I am proud to be a co-sponsor on the Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act.
I will always stand up for our climate, but I need your support, too. If you believe this decision is outrageous and that Congressional action must be taken to mitigate the damage it has caused, will you add your name now? [[link removed]]

This fight is about all of us, and it’s up to each and every one of us to ensure we protect the environment for generations to come.
SCOTUS is reversing decades of progress, and this precedent may impact federal agency’s regulatory powers over not only the environment, but so much more.
Our grassroots movement has advocated for progress time and time again, and today, this fight is more important than ever. Join me in the fight for our planet by adding your name now [[link removed]]
Let’s fight for this together,
Jan
