I am honored to receive the endorsement of The AFRO, America’s #1 Black newspaper and the oldest Black business in Maryland.
I decided to run for Congress because our communities are being underserved and underrepresented. Nothing has shown that more plainly than our country’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, where racial disparities in healthcare, income, jobs and beyond became even more heightened.
The 4th District needs someone with the experience and seniority to deliver real results for the Black community and all underserved communities.
The AFRO endorsed me because they know I am by far the best candidate to deliver for the Black community and for everyone in the 4th District.

Election Day is tomorrow, July 19th, and this race is close thanks to dark money forces pouring millions of dollars into my opponent. They are doing everything they can to defeat me because they know I will fight for the 4th District, not special interests or outside forces.
