Today, I wanted to take a moment to tell you why I’m running for re-election, and what I’m fighting for in Washington.

Election Day is still a few months away, but before I go on, will you chip in $15 to help my campaign organize voters?

For a long time, I’ve thought of Washington as a beehive. In order to deliver results for the communities we serve, we have to work together even when our priorities are different – just like bees in their colonies.

Of course, bees don’t have to worry about the GOP’s obstructionist efforts at every turn. But the key to getting things done in Washington is working hard, achieving bipartisanship solutions when there’s common ground, but never compromising on your values.

Passing our Democratic priorities won’t happen overnight – it’s going to take hard work and perseverance to finally codify Roe or fully rebuild our infrastructure. But I can say this with confidence: Democrats have passed incredible, effective legislation that positively impacts millions before, and we can do it again (and again, and again…).

I’m running for re-election to support hardworking families and improve the lives of every Connecticut resident. Whether it’s protecting reproductive rights, rebuilding our crumbling infrastructure, or creating an economy that works for us all, CT-04 deserves a representative who’s going to do the hard work and get the job done.
