Dear Friend,
Since the Supreme Court overturned the constitutional right to abortion on June 24, 15 states have restricted or eliminated access to abortion services—and this number is increasing by the day. Abortion bans will only multiply if Republicans gain ground in the midterm elections in November—with some on the far right already talking about plans for a federal abortion ban.
Become an Abortion Defender to take action and stop this abuse of power! [[link removed]]
Population Connection Action Fund has been fighting to defend reproductive freedom with all we have, and in the last two elections has engaged over 35,000 voters in our Get Out the Vote efforts.
To fight back, we will be working through the midterm elections to make sure that we are electing candidates who are fierce advocates of reproductive freedom and helping those already in office to stay there. Our best chance to guarantee abortion rights is to pass the Women's Health Protection Act (WHPA), but to do that, we need more champions in the Senate.
By becoming an Abortion Defender, you will get the most timely information on how this fight is progressing, as well as electoral actions and trainings you can plug into to have the greatest impact. Every action and voice matters at this critical moment.
Will you join the fight? [[link removed]]
We hope you will stand with abortion supporters across the country and sign up to be an Abortion Defender with Population Connection Action Fund.
In solidarity,
