Recently at a campaign event, one of Derek Schmidt's supporters made a thinly-veiled threat against Governor Kelly , hinting that she "oughta change the lock on her office door." In response, Schmidt's pick for lieutenant governor just laughed .

For nearly four years, we've made incredible progress because Laura worked across the aisle to bring people together, rebuild our economy, and fund our schools. We can't hand the keys over to people who encourage violent rhetoric.
