We are throwing out the old, failed playbook and running the kind of grassroots campaign it takes to win in North Carolina.

It is a significant undertaking, but it is working. The polls show we’re tied with our opponent, and nonpartisan experts consistently rate this one of the seats “most likely to flip.”

We would not be in the strong position we are in today without the tens of thousands of small-dollar donors powering this campaign. But right now, we need you to join them.

Can you please split a donation to our campaign and The Collective PAC? Our opponents and the media are going to try to drown us out with attack ads, and we need resources to fight back.

John, I wish I didn’t have to ask you to give today, but these Senate races are just so expensive — especially when we’re trying to do it the right way by rejecting corporate PAC money.

It takes an enormous amount of resources to run a campaign that can organize and reach voters in every part of this state, from the mountains to the coast, rural and urban alike.

Unfortunately, we know that we still have to raise more money because GOP super PACs are planning to dump at least $27 million more into this race on TV ads — on top of the more than $6 million they’ve already spent against me.

So if we want to flip this seat and expand our majority, then we have to hit our goal this month. Right now, we’re pacing behind, and the only way to make sure we don’t fall short is by asking supporters like you.

Will you split a donation between our campaign and The Collective PAC to help us close the gap and secure a historic victory in November?

This race is likely to decide whether or not we have 51 votes in the Senate to codify abortion rights, act on climate and defend democracy. If you help me win, I promise that I will cast that deciding vote for progress.
