Dear John,
There is still much uncertainty in the wake of Roe v. Wade’s fall, which is why we've launched a Post-Roe v. Wade in Texas: Info + Action Center [[link removed]] that we'll continue to update as we learn more about how we can support Texans in this moment.
You can actually take one of the actions found on our page [[link removed]] today if you live in Austin, TX or in the surrounding area. The Austin City Council will be holding a special meeting on reproductive health action on July 21 at 10am, and registration for public testimony opened this morning. To testify at the meeting, visit this page. [[link removed]]

The challenges of a post-Roe Texas continue to grow and evolve as advocacy groups, funds, and clinics take every legal step possible to ensure pregnant Texans receive the care they need in the wake of the Supreme Court of the United States' devastating ruling overturning Roe v. Wade. Currently, abortion clinics in Texas have been forced to cease operations because of policies Texas lawmakers passed last year.
As we navigate this new world, move through our grief, and forge our future path together, we do know this: Our fight to make abortion permanently legal, safe, and accessible for everyone cannot and will not stop. Our care for our communities cannot stop.
We hope that our Post-Roe v. Wade in Texas: Info + Action Center [[link removed]] can serve as a valuable resource for you and your community. Together, we can ensure we all have the freedom to get the care we need, elect leaders who support those freedoms, and make the decisions that are right for our families, no matter our race, the zip code we live in, or how much money we make.
Sending strength,
