Last week, I shared a video about my commitment to address the opioid epidemic. In this fight, we have taken on cartels and drug distribution rings who are pushing deadly fentanyl into our communities. Fentanyl is increasingly marketed in the form of counterfeit prescription pills that are distributed to unaware victims, like Braden, captured in this video. |
We need to stop this crime and hold those pushing these dangerous drugs accountable. To that end, our office has taken on these cartels and we successfully fought for more money to work with law enforcement to increase drug interdiction, taking drugs off the street before more promising lives are cut short.
