Wow, John!

When the Supreme Court decided to hear the Mississippi case a year ago, Abortion Access Front knew that Roe was going to fall. That’s when AAF started planning an activist training day... we believed there would be a wave of people who were furious and wanted to channel that anger into long-lasting practical action. That wave turned out to be a tsunami with 10,000 people signing up for Operation Save Abortion! And The New York Times even wrote an article about why I started AAF and the work we do, including the training! This massive outpouring of passion and commitment is the first thing that’s made me feel hopeful in months.

Participants devoted their entire Sunday to learn from rock stars of the Reproductive Justice, rights, and health movement how to put their skills, interest and determination to work in their own communities. These leaders explained the core pillars of abortion activism and what kind of help is needed right now and in the weeks and months to come.
