Wade, and now marriage equality, contraception access, and LGBTQ+ rights could all be on the line. State legislatures are now the last line of defense for so many of our most fundamental rights.

Republicans are pouring money into our level of the ballot to pass their twisted agenda. State legislatures are notoriously underfunded, overlooked, and far-too-often deemed unimportant. As the president of the only official committee dedicated to electing Democrats to state legislatures, I know this all too well. But with state legislatures becoming battlegrounds in the fight for abortion, voting, and LGBTQ+ rights, we’re determined to meet the moment.

I know that with more Democrats in our state legislatures, we can build a more progressive future, fight back against GOP extremism, and repair our democracy. We just need you.
