Friend, it’s J.P. Boyle, the Democratic Attorneys General Association’s Development Director.
I wanted to forward you the note our digital staff sent earlier this week. They talked about why it’s important that we keep our advertising program running. My job is to make sure that all our teams have what they need to fire on all cylinders, and our digital team is working incredibly hard this year. Anything you can do to support our digital efforts really makes a huge difference to them (and me).

Subject: We need your help to keep our ads running…
Friend,
Somehow, it’s already the middle of July, leaving us with just a few short months until the midterm elections. Today we’re asking for your help to keep our ads running, and we’d like to explain why this is so important as we gear up toward November.
Here are the big things we’re working on this year as we compete in swing states across America:
Supporting strong incumbent campaigns with our incumbent AGs like Michigan AG Dana Nessel and Wisconsin AG Josh Kaul, who are fighting back against decades- and even centuries-old abortion bans
Elevating powerful Democratic challengers like Jen Jordan in Georgia, Rochelle Garza in Texas, and Kris Mayes in Arizona, who are three attorneys who know how to protect their states and fellow citizens
Raising the resources to spread our message and make sure that voters understand the stakes of this year’s elections
With the Supreme Court deciding to gut federal protections, it’s never been more important to have abortion rights and democracy champions in statewide office. In order to elect those candidates, we need the resources to run advertising campaigns that reach voters where they are. That’s where you come in.
