Yesterday we called attention to Massachusetts U.S. District Attorney Rachael Rollins getting caught using her position as a top federal employee to attend a lavish fundraiser hosted by First Lady Jill Biden.

As you know, federal employees -- especially powerful ones like Rollins -- are barred from participating in partisan political events.

Yet after the Boston Herald ran its story, the former Suffolk DA accused them of never asking her for a comment.

One problem -- the Herald did, and Rollins brushed them aside with a one-word comment:

The Radical Democrats are convinced they are above the law. And when they get caught, their first impulse is to deny and deflect.
