On Thursday, Texas filed a lawsuit against the Biden administration after
the federal government released guidance to doctors and hospitals saying
that they would be violating federal law if they refused to provide an
abortion when the life of the pregnant person is in jeopardy.^1 The
Republican attorney general in Texas is arguing that doctors should not be
allowed to perform abortions, even if the procedure is necessary to save
the life of a pregnant person.^2

That is the future that the GOP wants for our country.

Pregnant girls, women, trans, and nonbinary people dying preventable
deaths.

Victims of rape and incest being forced to give birth.

And pregnant people across the country scrambling to find the cash, child
care, and transportation they'll need to cross borders and travel
thousands of miles in order to have control of their own bodies.

We will not let that future come to pass. We will organize, volunteer,
spread the word, and vote this November to kick forced-birth extremists
out of office and elect leaders who will fight for our constitutional
rights and bodily autonomy.

access health care.

They will ban contraception.

They will do whatever they can to control our bodies and our lives.
