Hi John,

I wanted to reach out to you personally to share with you how important it is to me that we hit our $8,000 goal tonight. If you haven’t already, will you make a last-minute donation to help us close the gap?

If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it dozens of times: Asking for donations is probably my least favorite part of the job.

But here’s the truth, John. When folks like you chip in to my campaign, it helps my team fight back against the Washington Republicans targeting our district, and it helps me stay on the road meeting with voters.

I’m running for re-election because I believe in eastern Connecticut, and I believe our community deserves a strong advocate in Washington. I’m proud to fight for our families, our jobs, and our communities – and I’m not ready to give up that fight.

But the only way I can keep fighting for you in Congress is if we all come together to hit every goal we set. That’s the only way we’ll reach the voters we’ll need to win.

We need to raise $675 more to hit our $8,000 goal. If you’re able to chip in before the night ends, then here’s a link just for you:

Thank you so much for your support.

Joe Courtney
