Folks, this past week I was honored to go up to Wisconsin and speak to the Democrats at their Founders’ Day celebration.

Wisconsin’s a really important state - with at least three critical elections this fall which could have big impacts on the 2024 presidential race: Governor Tony Evers and Attorney General Josh Kaul are both up for reelection, and we just have to beat Ron Johnson and win that Senate seat.

We have a great chance of winning all 3 races in Wisconsin but it is going to take all the help we can give them. So I hope you will join me in supporting the vital work they’re doing up in in the Badger State and make a contribution to help win there and in key races nationwide. [[link removed]]

One thing I noticed while I was up there is how good of a job the Wisconsin Democratic Party and their candidates are at actually getting their message out. I’ve been saying for some time that we have to compare the candidates we have to the extremists running from the radical right. We can’t let Republicans and the media get away with setting the agenda for the midterms. Wisconsin they’re doing a great job of telling voters the truth about their accomplishments, setting up a contrast, and controlling the narrative.

Look at what Governor Evers has done and is doing. He promised to cut taxes for the middle class and did so by 15%. Middle class Wisconsin families are weathering the storm of inflation so much better because of those tax cuts. He has increased funding to public schools, worked to make health care more affordable, and supported small businesses and family farms.

Attorney General Kaul is doing great work as well. He’s championing violence prevention efforts, fighting for clean water, holding Big Pharma accountable, and of course, he was on the front lines of protecting democracy after the 2020 election and continues to be a leader for fair maps and voting rights.

That’s what being a Democrat is all about – and it’s up to each of us to get that message out and continue to make the comparison between our great candidates (both in Wisconsin and nationally) and those of the MAGA Republican right.

Need any more of a contrast? Just look at Ron Johnson’s attempt to send fake electors to Washington and overthrow the presidential election. But you can’t ask him about it, because he’ll fake a phone call to dodge the press. Our Senate nominee will be selected soon and I can tell you after meeting them that we are going to have a great opportunity to pick up this seat. We have to win this seat and expand our Senate majority, folks.

The bottom line is we can win in Wisconsin. They are doing more than just running great campaigns – our candidates are doing the jobs they were elected to do and doing them well.

That’s the kind of party we should be. Will you please join me in supporting their vital work? Your contribution will help us win in Wisconsin and take the fight to ultra-MAGA candidates in the races that matter most. [[link removed]]

Thank you for all your support. We can win this if we work together.
