John, these last few months have been hard. It's easy to get worn down by everything that's happening in the world – and how much work still lies ahead of us.

It feels like every day, more of us lose loved ones to COVID-19, another civil liberty is weakened or taken away entirely, groceries and gas prices grow even more expensive, casting our ballots becomes harder and harder, and partisan extremists turn back the clock on the progress we've worked so hard for.

Right now, tuning in and taking action is harder than ever. But this is exactly why it is so, so important to get involved and make our voices heard. Inspiring leaders like Michelle Obama are urging people like you to hold onto hope and work for a better future. They know we can still win this fight, but only if we stand together, united and hopeful.

And winning that fight starts with the elections in November. Trudy Busch Valentine, a former nurse and fourth-generation Missourian, is running to flip this seat and bring compassion back to Washington. She's exactly the type of leader our country needs right now, but she'll only get to the Senate if people like you believe in her and invest in this campaign.

So please, will you pitch in now to send a nurse to the Senate who will take science seriously, go to bat for our right to choose, make life more affordable, and protect our right to the ballot? With united grassroots power and hope, we will win.
