Last Friday, the House passed the Women’s Health Protection Act and the Ensuring Women’s Right to Reproductive Freedom Act!

These bills enshrine reproductive rights into law and prohibit fining, criminalizing, or suing anyone who exercises their right to travel across state lines to obtain reproductive healthcare. Now I need you to help me send a loud and clear message to the Senate tomorrow morning: pass both these pieces of legislation so we can send them to President Biden’s desk!

The first African-American woman in Wisconsin history to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives, Congresswoman Gwen Moore, took her official oath of office on January 4, 2005. She served in the Wisconsin State Senate from 1993-2004. Before her election to the Senate, Congresswoman Moore served two consecutive terms in the Wisconsin State Assembly from 1989-92.
