Dan Kildee here. Now that our first TV ads of the election are officially live, we’re looking ahead to our next budget deadline at the end of the month.

Michigan is once again a make-or-break battleground state. Our opponents for Congress launched a string of negative attack ads against us, and this budget deadline is an important marker of our strength as we enter the last few months of the election.

Friend, all eyes are on us. Because of redistricting, our race is one of the most competitive in the entire country, and it’s all hands on deck. Friend, Gary Peters thought that you might be willing to step up and help.

We need to raise $5,000 by midnight tonight to stay on track for our monthly goal – but we're falling short. Every dollar is critical so that we can stand up to the extremist dark money groups that want to turn Michigan bright red. Like Sen. Peters, I’m fighting day in and day out to deliver for mid-Michigan. From protecting our Great Lakes and cleaning our drinking water, to lowering costs of everyday necessities like prescription drugs and gasoline, and improving our supply chains to make more things in Michigan. 

All of us here in Michigan are working hard to connect with every last voter. But that work takes time, hustle and resources – and we can’t do it without you.
