We're still a bit short of our fundraising pace for this month, so I'm asking you to dig a little deeper to help us reach our weekly goal. Let me give you three good reasons:

1. December is a tough month for fundraising because folks are traveling to visit family and tuning out to focus on celebrating the holidays (and rightly so!).

2. As you can imagine, that leaves us in a bit of a pickle as we come up on our biggest FEC deadline of the year — which is why my team and I decided to set a weekly goal of raising $20,000 before midnight on Sunday to get back on track.

3. Small-dollar contributions of $5, $10, or whatever folks like you can afford to give can go a long way in helping us hit our target.
