This is a long email, but I don’t want to interrupt your Saturday, so here’s the short version if you’re busy: I just got an update from our fundraising team, and we still need to bring in 2,237 individual contributions by 11:59 pm on Monday to reach our public deadline goal.

Monday's public fundraising deadline is our first since Roe v. Wade was overturned. When our report is published, everyone will use our numbers as a barometer to assess whether or not we have what it takes to defend our reproductive rights.

Governor Walz and I have been 100% clear: No abortion ban will ever become law under our watch. But if Scott Jensen and Matt Birk win November, they will sign a Texas-style abortion ban the moment it hits their desk.

John, it’s likely that Minnesota will soon become the only state in the Upper Midwest with safe and legal access to abortion. We are a regional safe haven for reproductive freedom, and as long as Governor Walz and I are in office, it will stay that way.

There’s no question that this is one of the most important elections in the history of our state, and Monday’s public deadline is a make-or-break moment for our campaign. We can’t afford to fall short.
