Friends – Thanks to everyone who pitched in, we closed a HUGE gap and almost caught up on our mid-month fundraising goal. In fact, we’re only $409 short today!

Today is my birthday, and hitting this goal would be a GREAT birthday present. If we keep going on this track, this time next year I’ll be celebrating my birthday with the people of the 2nd district as your representative.

If you didn’t get a chance to pitch in before midnight yesterday, you can still help us close this small gap with a contribution today in any amount.

I also got word that I’ve been endorsed by a local political influencer, Marianne Edain. In her endorsement blog, Marianne wrote this about our campaign:

“[Jason’s] program is refreshing because it actually is a coherent program, with specific actions toward the stated goals. On the Green New Deal, he recognizes that climate change is going to kill us all if not addressed.”

Marianne did her homework on this endorsement. We corresponded several times and she asked me detailed questions about policy before making her recommendation.

I live for those conversations, and I am grateful to have earned her support.

While our virtual townhall is going on today, the rest of my team will be out hitting the doors. Now that ballots have arrived, it’s crucial that we engage more voters every single day until every vote is cast.
