In just a moment, we’re going to ask you to make a contribution to prevent a far-right takeover in CA-49. Before we ask, here’s what we’re up against and why your support is so important:

FIRST: Election forecasters at Cook Political Report downgraded Mike’s reelection chances from “Likely Democratic” to “Lean Democratic.” Putting us just one rating away from “Toss Up.”

THEN: A GOP super PAC dropped $760,000 worth of misleading attack ads on TVs across San Diego. This is in addition to the $1.6 million already promised against us by a second Kevin McCarthy-aligned super PAC. The 2022 total in outside spending against us is now at $2.3 million.

NOW: Politico is predicting our race “could be decided by a few hundred votes.”
