Friend --
"Wishing you a great month of December". That was a tweet <[link removed]> recently sent out by Liberal MP Bob Bratina with a picture of a snowy scene and colourful trees. What could be happening in December that could possibly warrant such a special greeting? Can you think of anything special?
This kind of silly political correctness is rampant in the old parties, as much in the Conservatives as in the Liberals and NDP. Thankfully, Maxime Bernier founded the People's Party of Canada just over a year ago to help put an end to political correctness. We're a party that's not afraid to wish you a Merry Christmas, or a Happy Hanukkah at the appropriate time.
This year we ran our first election campaign within months of organizing our constituency association. We didn't win, but we should be proud of the people we brought together and the effort that we all put in. Election campaigns cost money. If we are to improve on our performance next time, we need to start raising funds now. This is the last opportunity to make a donation to your People's Party Electoral District Association and get a tax credit for 2019. Big or small, all donations are welcome and will be used to help make sure that your next MP represents your beliefs.
