John — it’s Amber Miller, Gov. Polis’s communications director. Part of my job is to keep an eye on the kinds of things our GOP opponents are saying about this election.

We’re a bit over two weeks into the General Election, and frankly John, we’ve seen some alarming stuff.

First, the Colorado GOP made false conspiracy theories about the 2020 election an official part of their party platform earlier this year.

Then, our Republican opponent celebrated the end of Roe v. Wade and promised to overturn Colorado’s law protecting the right to choose if she is elected Governor.

Now, our opponent has come out and said that states should be able to ban contraception and gay marriage.

John, when it comes to protecting our civil rights, elections matter. And if we’re going to protect basic freedoms in Colorado like the freedom to choose and the freedom to marry who you love, then we need to make sure Jared Polis wins this race.
