"‘They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you,’ declares the Lord."
- Jeremiah 1:19
Africa & Europe
Thank God for the acquittal of an IJM client in Kenya who was framed for a crime he did not commit. During the trial, the prosecution failed to produce witnesses. Praise God that this man and another innocent accused person can now be free.
Latin America
Please pray for the Latin American team as we are in the recruitment process for key roles. We are looking for passionate, talented professionals in Latin America who share our desire to protect those who are living in poverty because of violence. Please pray for wisdom and guidance for our Guatemala team specifically as they search for a Country Director!
South Asia
Please continue to pray for impoverished communities impacted by extreme weather. High heat, flooding, and mudslides have devastated parts of South Asia. This could destroy homes or farmland, leaving families desperate for help and vulnerable to human trafficking. Pray that the government and well-intentioned charities could intervene quickly to protect vulnerable children, women, and men. Please also pray for a mild monsoon season to avoid future damage.
Southeast Asia
Praise God for the rescue of two boys from online sexual exploitation! Our IJM Cebu team assisted local law enforcement in the rescue of these boys, ages 11 and one, and arrested one suspect. Please pray that the suspect will be held accountable through a swift sentencing! Please also pray for the boys as they begin their journey of healing.
IJM Global Office & Partners
