Friends,

The House just passed my Active Shooter Alert Act!

TELL THE SENATE: PASS THE ACTIVE SHOOTER ALERT ACT >> [[link removed]]The bill uses existing technology from AMBER Alerts to notify the public of a nearby active shooting. In a situation where even a few seconds’ advance notice can save lives, this policy is common sense.

I’m proud to have authored this bill with Rep. Upton and thankful to my House colleagues — both Democrat and Republican — for approving it. Now, it’s the Senate’s turn to take action.

Friends, will you add your name here to call on the Senate to pass my Active Shooter Alert Act? We need to be doing everything we can to fight gun violence. [[link removed]]

TELL THE SENATE: PASS THE ACTIVE SHOOTER ALERT ACT >> [[link removed]]There’s still much more work to do, but passing this bill is an important step.

Thank you for your support

- David
