Poll after poll still shows that over 50% of the American public think Trump should be impeached AND removed from office. Yet, if you only watch cable news networks, you might get the impression that Trump’s impeachment in the House is backfiring on Democrats and public opinion is against us.

This isn't new. The New York Times wrote in July 1974, just a few weeks before Nixon resigned on August 8th: "The closer President Nixon comes to impeachment, the louder his supporters proclaim his innocence."

But Nixon didn’t have FOX news or 24/7 cable channels constantly filling time with every conspiracy theory and lie Trump and Trump Republicans shill. So we can’t just assume that this time will play out the same as last time. We have to keep turning up the heat and put Republicans on defense.

That's why, in collaboration with dozens of partner organizations, we're organizing a massive wave of protests nationwide to take place the night before the House vote on impeachment. Already, more than 380 events will happen in 48 states. We need you to join in and attend a rally near you.

You can bet that everyone will be watching, Republicans and Democrats in the House, the media, and of course, Donald Trump. But you know who else will be watching?

Senate Republicans.

That’s why we need as many attendees as possible, a show of force, proof of undeniable public pressure across the country to impeach Trump that even the Senate can’t ignore.

No one is above the law, not even the President. Showing up big at Impeach and Remove rallies the night before the vote is our critical role in impeaching Trump. Don’t sit this out.
