Since the overturning of Roe v. Wade, President Biden, Senator Schumer, and Speaker Pelosi are trying to appease their base by pushing an onslaught of radical abortion policies.
Speaker Pelosi pitched a fit the day Roe v. Wade was overturned, and yesterday she brought two extreme abortion bills to the House floor for a vote, H.R. 8296 and H.R. 8297.
H.R. 8296 will allow abortion-on-demand in every state if enacted into law and H.R. 8297 will protect abortionists and hurt women if enacted into law. The House passed both bills by a vote of 219-209 on Friday.
When the votes were brought up on the floor, Representatives Michelle Fischbach (MN-7) and Mike Johnson (LA-04) stepped up to the plate and brought motions to vote on the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Act. But Democrats balked at the common-sense protections for children outside of the womb who survive abortions and voted down the motions—proving how extreme Democrat leadership has become in their abortion policy.
The Senate pitched a fastball with a bill that shields abortionists from state laws that protect life and promotes women traveling across state lines to have abortions. Thankfully, Sen. Lankford (OK) cried “foul!” and was able to stop the bill in its tracks.
