Good morning, John...

I’m back home in Virginia Beach today after a busy couple of weeks in Washington. We took Leo out for an early-morning walk, so I'm taking a few minutes to just enjoy the quiet, sip my coffee, and get some thoughts out of my head.☕

But before I do that, can I count on you to chip in $5, $10, or whatever you can to keep VA-02 blue?

I’d like to share a bit of wisdom that’s helped me immensely in my (almost) 13 years as a mom: expect the unexpected. Be an optimist, celebrate the little moments, and know that the sleepless nights and tantrums won’t last forever.

That’s my attitude towards politics, too. Defending our democracy will always be my #1 priority, even when it's an uphill battle. And if I lose re-election because I did right by my country, that’s still a win in my book. 

Nearly every political forecast gives me a roughly 50/50 chance of winning this race. I’m the GOP’s top target in November.

You can see how it might feel like a roller coaster (and not always the fun kind).

The right-wing media is watching this race closely. We need to be crystal-clear that my team never, ever backs down from a fight.💪

So, could you please pitch in a few bucks or whatever you can to defend VA-02 and our Democratic House majority?
