Friend --

When I came on board in September as NLC President and CEO, I pledged to embark on a listening tour to hear from our NLC community, because our fellows, alumni, volunteer leaders, and supporters are at the core of our present and future. Over the last three months, I have met with the National Program Committee, National Diversity Committee, the Caucuses' leadership, all 50 Chapter Directors, and alumni from across the country. Thank you to everyone who has attended these virtual round-table conversations [[link removed]] .

Among all of these important conversations, our volunteers and staff are working tirelessly to ensure NLC delivers on its mission to recruit, train, and promote the rising generations of progressive leaders. I hope you enjoy reading the exciting updates below from the NLC community, as much I've enjoyed my first three months at the helm of this incredible movement.

Onward,

Clare Bresnahan English
NLC President & CEO
