John, Disinformation is still killing this country. Forty percent of a group of the highest paid Americans cannot cross the border into Canada because they are still unvaccinated. I'm talking about the Kansas City Royals baseball team, not traders at Goldman Sachs or partners at a high-priced law firm. Yet, even lacking the education of the latter two groups, Kansas City Royals players possess disposable income, leisure time, they travel, all the kidns of things that equal access to any source of information they wish to acquire. And this is because of the power of right-wing propaganda. Make no mistake, there was no mass-movement against vaccination for COVID until FoxNews, Joe Rogan, Alex Jones, Sinclair Media, Salem Media, Donald Trump, Ron Johnson, Ted Cruz and many others found it profitable and a source of power to demagogue about masks and vaccines. WHY??...We're going to have to deal with the fact that we have people who don't live in this reality. And if they don't live int his reality, they are not taking the precautions this reality requires. And that puts us all at risk...We need to solve this disinformation problem, where people knowing share fake information that gets people killed...
