JOHN,
We're guessing you’ve seen it by now, but Jill Biden thinks the Hispanic culture is as unique as ‘breakfast tacos.’
GOP Candidates across the country immediately responded by demonstrating the outstanding contributions the Hispanic community has made to our country, and of course, Rene was one of them.
When Fox News asked Rene what he thought about the comment and the attempt to pander to the Hispanic community, he said:
"Jill Biden would do better to answer for these failures by her husband and her party than to appeal to us through offensive and tone-deaf comparisons such as this. This is indicative of the current elitist leadership in DC and how it's reduced our heritage and culture to a taco."
Fox News also asked Rene about his thoughts on the exodus of the Hispanic community from the Democrat Party we’ve seen across the United States.
"With my extensive heritage and history in Arizona, including family who live in border towns, and having co-founded an organization that helps victims of sex trafficking, I have a firsthand perspective on the horrific ramifications the policies of Joe Biden and his administration have on Hispanic families and communities. Add to that the crippling burden placed on all of us by his failed economic policies, it is clear why so many Hispanics are moving to the Republican Party."
Rene was joined by many other rising-star Hispanic GOP candidates across the country, and they all agree that Jill Biden’s comments show how incredibly out of touch the Democrats are with everyday Americans.
Check out what else Rene had to say as well as some other great candidates here.
Thank you,
Lopez HQ
