Folks, to me Alabama has always been home. Throughout my life, I’ve witnessed our community’s triumphs and shared in its heartbreaks. Now, as I’m fighting to continue representing the place I call home and the people I call my neighbors, it’s important for me to reflect on our shared history.

Before I tell you more about my district’s roots, I have to ask: will you take a moment to chip in $15 to my campaign for Congress?

It’s not an exaggeration to call AL-07 America’s Civil Rights District. So many of our nation’s greatest battles for racial equality happened right here in our backyards. From bus boycotts to Bloody Sunday, our district has helped shape the very fabric of American history.

Our district proudly boasts a history of triumph over adversity, justice in the face of tyranny, and excellence at every possible level.

I’m in this race to build on that history.

But our path forward has to be built on more than just pride in our history. Our future depends on building on the progress we’ve made and advocating for the people who make this district great.

I’m in this fight to do more than enshrine my district’s legacy. I’m in this race for Congress because Alabama is my home , and I’ll do anything I can to protect it.

If you’re with me in this fight, can I count on you to chip in anything you can to my campaign for Congress?
