John, read my encouragement for you this Christmas season.

Dear John,
I hope this email finds you well. As we’re now fully into the Christmas season, I wanted to encourage you and thank you for your work with Human Coalition. You truly model the love of Christ that we’re all celebrating this season by rescuing children and serving families.
In John 3:17, Jesus says: “I have come into the world not to condemn the world but rather to save the world from condemnation.” Think about that reality this holiday season: Jesus was not only about truth, but also about love. Time and time again, He exemplified this idea throughout His ministry and ultimately on the cross.
When it comes to the issue of abortion, we want to do the same. We want to love people in a way that mirrors the way Jesus loved people. We want to show kindness the way Jesus showed kindness. This is what it means to be pro-life.
If we believe that all human beings are created in God’s image, it means we will speak boldly and courageously about abortion. We will call it what it is: murder. Yet we will care passionately and continuously for mothers before and after the crisis.
Being pro-life is about saving the child and walking alongside the mother. It means we’re committed to life in its entirety.
I know that we live in a difficult, confusing time where everything is so politicized and divided, and it’s hard to live this out. Yet we must stand on the Word of God and in opposition to all that is an affront to His eternal truth. The Bible bears its weight on all of life, especially preborn children, who are the most vulnerable among us.
As the people of God, we are to be clothed in compassion, saturated in love, speaking truth, inviting people into our homes, emptying out a portion of our wallets, surrendering everything to the kingdom of God. It’s not just a check; it’s our lives. That’s what it means to be pro-life.
That is why I love the work that Human Coalition is doing. Through your partnership with this great organization, you are reaching at-risk pregnant women, rescuing their children from abortion, and restoring their families to stability. You are a part of the movement that is exemplifying the love of Christ by making abortion unthinkable and unavailable.
So thank you again for your courage, your compassion, your love, and your willingness to get in the fight. As a part of that encouragement, I want to leave you with the story of Kayla.
Kayla’s story represents the kind of love I’m talking about, a love that reaches, rescues, and restores, the love of Christ. She is a testimony of the way you are transforming lives.
