The Kevin McCarthy-affiliated Congressional Leadership Fund (which is the biggest Republican super PAC that focuses on House races) just reported raising $43.5 million in the last quarter — a record sum for them.

This super PAC has already invested millions in the D.C. media market (which overlaps heavily with Jennifer's district). We should expect they will invest even more now.

Make no mistake: well-funded attacks against Jennifer are going to be here soon. We're focused on raising the resources now for rapid-response communications.

But we'll fall behind pace if we miss our fundraising goals, and risk allowing the GOP to define the narrative for this race.
