URGENT, John:
Our July mid-month deadline is tomorrow night, and we still need help to reach our goal! We've run the numbers and we're calling for 12 people from DC to pitch in now, to help us reach our goal. Can you make a donation of any amount to help us get there?
With so much on the line, we can't afford to fall behind right now. President Obama said “the fight for fair maps is part of the fight to protect our democracy,” and he's spot on. If we don't do everything we can to fight back against GOP gerrymandering and voter suppression, Democrats could find themselves locked out of power indefinitely.
The good news is we're well aware of what we're up against: A.G. Holder himself said that “our democracy is under attack, and it will take all of us to protect it.” That's why the NDRC is targeting key races in 17 states across the country this November — but we can't do any of our work without your support.
