Florida Rising Weekly Newsletter
Join us this Super Saturday!
Florida for All will be launching our monthly Super Saturdays this weekend across 10 counties! Organizers and volunteers will be canvassing across their neighborhoods, engaging voters on how we build local power for a brighter Florida for All.
Florida For All is powered by people like you and me, not wealthy donors and the bought off politicians who put their personal ambitions ahead of what’s best for us. Our priorities are addressing Florida’s housing crisis and rising cost of living, protecting workers’ rights while demanding good wages, providing access to quality health care and guaranteeing reproductive freedom, supporting quality public education, affordable childcare, and food access, and so much more.
We ask that you share this within your organization’s base for a powerful Canvass launch! Join us in a county near you to GOTV and build community power with us.

The challenges to a just and equitable state may seem impossible to solve, and it's hard to know where to begin. But there's a way forward — and it starts by uniting on the ground and in our communities. It starts with the people closest to the problems themselves. It starts with you.

image of ... [[link removed]] Free Alethia Jones
The last two decades of Alethia Jones' life are a clear depiction of how Florida’s mass incarceration system fais the residents of Florida.
While on her way to recovery, Alethia made a mistake that cost her entire life. Instead of investments in communities that prevent crime and make reentry after incarceration possible, Florida’s three strikes rule has robbed families of their support systems and shown the heartless nature of the system that we are living in. It’s time to right at least one of the 1XX wrongs of people serving life in the FL justice system for drug offenses and Free Alethia Jones. Voting rights groups told a federal judge they will ask the court to overturn the Jacksonville City Council redistricting plans before the 2023 elections.
