Hi team, I want to send you a quick personal note about the state of the race here in Wisconsin’s 3rd district.

This race is critically important to keeping the Democratic House majority. Not only has Nate Silver called Wisconsin’s 3rd the most competitive seat in Wisconsin, but political forecasters say our seat is a critical defense for Democrats if we want to keep the House.

Furthermore, Republicans see my friend Ron Kind’s retirement as a pickup opportunity. They’re funneling funds and resources into the campaign of my extreme opponent – so extreme that he actually attended the January 6th attack on our Capitol.

Someone like that does not hold our Wisconsin values, nor should someone who attacks our Capitol represent our community inside it. There’s a lot at stake, and I know I’m the best candidate to continue Rep. Kind’s work and take on extremism.

If you can, please consider chipping into our campaign as we enter the primary season. Every dollar counts – and I really mean that. If you could give $10 or $25, it would help us prepare for what comes next.
