John - I’ll keep it quick.
I just found out we still have to raise an additional $2,589 before midnight tonight to stay on track for our mid-July fundraising goal.
We can’t afford to slow down our fundraising pace, John. Here are three reasons why the resources we raise are so important:
- It’s 200 miles from one end of our district to the other (roughly four hours of driving).
- Our district contains 5 media markets, including the New York City media market.
- Cook Political Report just gave our district a “0” Partisan Voting Index, meaning NY-19 is a straight toss-up seat.
The bottom line is that this district is expensive to travel across, exceedingly expensive to communicate to voters through advertising, and is one of the most competitive in the country.
So even though I hate asking for money, I’m personally reaching out, John. Can you dig deep and rush a $5 donation and help us close our gap before midnight tonight?

Trust me, asking for money is my least favorite part of running for Congress.
But, it’s necessary so my team can make the investments we need to win this race and keep the House blue.
So, I’ll ask just once more: could you pitch in just $5 or whatever you can afford before closing this email? Every single dollar really does make a difference.
With gratitude & high hopes,
Josh Riley
