Lt. Gov. Crouch statement on the 2022 fiscal year close-out
STATEHOUSE ??Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch offered the following statement regarding the 2022 state fiscal year close-out with $6.1 billion in reserves.
"We have much to be proud of in Indiana and our strong fiscal position is certainly high on that list. While it may be easy for some to take for granted our $6.1 billion in reserves, we know that that balance does not happen by accident. Thanks to strong leadership by state leaders, Indiana continues to be a place where everyone who wants a job can find a job, where businesses want to grow and expand because they appreciate our tax and regulatory climate, and where families want to move because we are making strategic investments in providing a high quality of life for all Hoosiers."
