Friend,

Thursday was a great day in Indiana.

We were honored to host the President's Workforce Advisory Board meeting in
Indianapolis and talk about all of the amazing progress that Indiana is making
with Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross and Special Advisor to the President
Ivanka Trump.

The Governor wanted us to pass along a few notes from the meeting so that you
could get an inside look at the conversation he had with Secretary Ross and
Special Advisor Trump...and learn about how Indiana is working to skill-up ALL
Hoosiers to succeed in the 21st century.

If you have any questions about the President's Workforce Advisory Board or

Team,

It's been a great meeting so far in Indianapolis and I just wanted to catch
you up on what I’ve been talking about with Secretary Ross and Special Advisor
Ivanka Trump.

So far, we’ve covered:

The Last Mile Program

* This program gives offenders the opportunity to earn skills relevant to the
high-wage, high-demand tech jobs available in our economy and is already making
progress to reduce our recidivism rate.

Our Next Level Jobs initiative

* This initiative has enrolled more than 21,000 Hoosiers in free courses and
more than 9,100 people have earned a high-demand credential while on the job.
We’ve doubled funding for these grants and helped more Hoosiers learn and earn
in the 21st century.

There’s still more to talk about, but I couldn’t be more grateful to have the
opportunity to share Indiana’s success story with Secretary Ross and Special
Advisor Trump.

Could you please share this with the Holcomb Crew to update them about our
meeting?

Best,

-Eric
